I'm sure that just like me, you were glued to the television on Tuesday to mark a real moment in history!! Even although we are on the other side of the world, it was amazing to feel the buzz and the ripple effect of the inaugration of the new USA President Obama also being celebrated over here.
In the spirit of change, our weekly dose of inspiration for this week aims to put a smile on your face with a famous quote ('Bushism') by the ex-President George W. Bush. "If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." Take a few minutes now to STOP and have a think .... what is at least one goal that you really want to succeed in achieving? Then ask yourself, what are you going to do this week to ensure that you don't ever think, feel or hear yourself say the words 'failure' in relation to your goal?
Have a fantastic week !!!!
All the best

Well I am sure that you are just as excited about 2009 being here, as I am!!! To wrap up the lovely holiday period, I went to see the new Jim Carrey film, 'Yes Man' and what a positive film it was. As I was sitting laughing away in the cinema with my family, it again reinforced to me the importance of being totally positive and open to new experiences in all areas of our life - whether it be for personal well-being; relationships; business success; wealth; education or sports.
As I mention to all our students and clients when setting goals, one of the key things that help make our goals come alive is to focus upon the end result, rather on all the small tiny steps that we need to take. In this way, we then leave ourselves open to many different routes and opportunities that are presented to us along the way, in order to reach our 'destination'.
However, think about it, what is one of the first words we learn as we start growing up as children? That's right - 'NO'.
If we automatically say 'No' (as many people do as a habit), to new ideas and opportunities, then we can be adding some road blocks and obstacles along our journey towards achieving our goals.
So I will leave you with a postive idea to adopt.
 | "YES is the new NO" Yes Man - The Movie |
Come on let's have some fun this week!!! Ask yourself, what is at least one thing that you would normally say NO to straight away, which instead you are now going to say YES to this week??? Earlier this week, I sent out the same quote to a number of previous students, clients and those who receive our Weekly Dose of Inspiration e-mail. I asked them to help us share the magic of inspiration by sending through a few of the things that they are going to say YES to this week, instead of their normal NO!!! Here is what some of them have been saying YES to this week: "This week I promise to use at least one of my smile cards."
"I was invited out Monday evening to meet a group of people who are very passionate about their 'Green' politics, I generally shy away from any politically motivated meetings as I find them uncomfortable. However, I went along, and met two people who were very interesting. One who directed me to an article that will be of use to me in my work, and the other who can help me begin to become involved in voluntary work with young people. This particular scheme combines two of my passions............young people and motor bikes!!"
"I received an email from the London College of Spirituality, offering volunteer positions that will soon develop into paid work. One of the available positions is that of Radio Presenter............something I've always fancied doing and have even been 'imagining' developing a scheme/project for schools and colleges, encouraging students to report 'good news', to celebrate their achievements etc as there is so much negative press regarding our teenagers and young adults. Sooo.........I've applied for the position............(lack of experience would have put me off in the past). Wish me luck............I really want it!! The experience will be so valuable to me."
"I'm going to say YES to anything my wife wants me to do this week!!!"
"I'm going to actually go to the gym instead of thinking of going and then saying 'no' when it comes down to it!"
"I said YES to my friends to go out on a 'school night' !!"
"YES to a nice pizza - I deserve it!!!"
Have a fantastic week saying YES and doing new things!! All the best Osmaan

Woo hoo 2009 is now here !!!! I hope you and your family had a lovely festive period and Happy New Year to you all !!! Well to mark the New Year we have launched our new updated website !!! Look out for lots of new features and articles that will be published shortly. I think it's a great time to take a few minutes to reflect back on 2008 to recognise and say 'thank you' for all the great things that happened during those 366 days? So have a think and ask yourself, what things went well for you? A few of the highlights for us here at Ab Intra Solutions and for me personally include: Getting to take share the tools and techniques of NLP in the business world, through bespoke NLP Business Courses, facilitation event, NLP introduction workshops and through networking.
So what are we looking forward to this year? Well like many of you, I have taken some time out to really focus upon what we want to achieve in 2009 - as without any specific goals then how are we ever going to make our dreams a reality? So I have set some really 'scary and hairy' goals to continually grow and develop Ab Intra Solutions and the whole team! A couple of the exciting things planned for 2009 are: Well the first goal has been achieved already - with the launch of our updated website !!!!! We will continue to develop our website over the coming months, to include lots of new articles and resources for those who are interested in NLP. It will also include our new Community Area - which will be exclusively for all our clients and students, so that they can keep their NLP journey alive even after their course or coaching sessions.
An expansion to our team !!! We will be looking to add more people to our team, to continue to ensure that all of our potential, existing and previous student's and clients are well supported. Look out for some new Guest Trainers that will be adding thier NLP magic to our upcoming courses.
We will be launching new courses and products for both new NLPers and exisiting NLP Practitioners, Coaches, Time Line Therapy™ and Hypnosis Practitioner - so that you can keep focusing on taking your personal development even further.
Well I hope that you have had as much fun setting your goals for this year. Just remember it is going to be even more fun, when we do whatever we need to do to continually motivate and drive ourselves in making them a reality - whilst overcoming any interesting challenges along the way. For all of you that I have had the pleasure of working with up to now - once again thank you for all your hard work and focus during our courses and coaching sessions. Keep going out there and putting all you know into practice. The best thing about doing what we do here at Ab Intra Solutions is hearing about all the successes that you are making for yourselves out there - keep on sending in all your success stories to us and have fun with the soon to be launched Community Area. Remember as a previous student, you are more than welcome to come back and assist on any of our Intensive NLP Practitioner courses this year to keep your skills sharp - take a peek at our upcoming course schedule and book the time out in your diary for 'me' time. I also look forward to meeting many new students and clients over the coming year, during our upcoming training courses that are up and down the country (including London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham) and through our Personal Coaching Sessions. Remember if there is anything we can help you with, then please give us a call on 0845 652 6123; complete our online enquiry form or e-mail us at
